Public Presentation II

Just wanted to remind everyone that I wll be giving a public talk about evolution here on the James Madison University campus, Wednesday, Feberuary 8, at 6:00 pm, in Taylor Hall room 305. I am told that cake will be served. I look forward to seeing everyone there.

I highly recommend everyone hear your presentation. You can tell the YECs and IDists in the audience that I expect them to be on their best behavior.

In light of the civil reception you have always extended to me whenever you've attended my talks at your school, I think it appropriate my side afford you the same courtesies.

Regrettably, I won't be able to hear your presentation. I'll be attending Caroline Crocker's presentation at the GMU IDEA club that same night at 7:30. I have to be there in light of the aftermath of her appearance in the Washington Post:

Hello Jason. Although this isn't specifically about your talk, I came across the following news story in The Capital Times, which is the local paper for Madison, WI:

"Bill bans creationism as science"

"Creationism or intelligent design could not be taught as science in Wisconsin public schools under a first-of-its-kind proposal announced today by Madison state Rep. Terese Berceau."

I'm sorry you won't be there. I was looking forward to extending you the same courtesy you've always extended me.

I should probably mention though that part of the talk will be devoted to working over Dr. Crocker. Metaphorically speaking of course.
